We know of many cases where project costs have ballooned enormously once an asbestos removal project was commenced, simply because once underway, the client was at the mercy of the asbestos removal contractor.

By specifying the work correctly at the start of the project, much of the cost could have been saved.

If you think about it, it is in the contractor's best interest to increase the scope of the work.

If a surveyor had been appointed to manage the project, the costs could have been contained and the savings made would easily have covered the cost of the surveyor.

Sometimes, by asking our advice prior to appointing an asbestos removal contractor, we have been able to save clients many thousands of pounds by offering an alternative solution to removal.

In many cases, removal might not be necessary at all.

But the service doesn't end there, as we can also reduce your costs further by running a tendering process for any work (removal or otherwise) that might be required.

Once the contract is awarded, we would then attend initial site meetings with the chosen contractor to ensure that the work progresses in accordance with the schedule and then liaise with all parties until the project is completed.
